P1 is all about studying Radio Cambridgeshire - what type of radio show they are, who listens to them and how they make their shows.

For this P - you will want to use Piktochart, Canva or Photoshop for infographics.





A - PROGRAMME TYPES
You need to showcase the type of programmes that are available on Radio Cambridgeshire. To do this, create an infographic/poster detailing 3 recurring programmes from radio Cambridgeshire. All this information can be found from the website  Find your chosen programme and select it, this is the programme information page. Detail should include:
-title of programme
-type of programme
-time at which it airs
-frequency of when it airs
-brief description of content





B - GENRES
You need to showcase the scheduling of radio Cambridgeshire. To do this, you should screenshot an entire days worth of programming. From these screenshots, you need to create a pie chart which depicts the length given to different genres (types) of programmes. To do this, sort each programme by it's genre (type) and then total up the minutes/hours and input that data into a piechart maker.

C - AUDIENCE PROFILES 
You need to know what type of person listens to Radio Cambridgeshire. To do this, using the information you gathered from A & B, as well as listening to the radio, you need to create one detailed infographic of audience profiles of a typical listener of radio Cambridgeshire,  include the following details:
-name
-age
-gender
-location
-occupation
-relationship
-hobbies
-radio interests
-how and when they listen to the radio
-favourite recurring radio show

After you have done this, you need to interview a family member and conduct a small interview. You should find out the following:
- general listening habits (what audio products do they consume)
-if they listen to radio
-what station they listen to
-when they listen to the radio
-or, why they don't listen to radio (what do they do instead)

Include this recording on your blog and summarise if you think they fit the radio Cambridgeshire profile.


D - PRODUCTION PROCESSES
You need to learn how the professionals put together a radio show, as you will have to go through these steps when you make your own. To do this, in groups watch the following videos - (make notes whilst you are watching!!)

Create an infographic in groups showing what happens in each of the following stages:
-planning
-preproduction
-production (pre record)
-production (live)
-post production
Detail when possible: job roles, timings


E - MARKET SHARE
You need to know how the current and long term trends in market share of radio Cambridgeshire, using the following website analyse the following details about radio Cambridgeshire: 
-market share
-weekly audience 

You need to answer the following questions, using screenshots as evidence:
-what is the current trend in market share? What could the reason be for this trend?
-what is the trend over the last 15 years in market share? What could the reason be for this trend?
-explain what has happened to the industry between the highest and lowest point of weekly audience?
